Plane Jumpers

We have met some fun friends in this condo. One of them works for the Special Forces and does top secret missions in sensitive areas of the world. Not even his own family can know what he's doing or where he's going.

But one day he told us about a training run (jump) that he was leading and told us when and where we could watch it! We had a great view of it just above our condo.

We watched many passes of the big plane (C-13?) before the guys jumped. Then two groups jumped. I believe our friend was the first guy out of the first plane. I guess leaders lead! Anyway, we always have a lot of military training activity going on in skies over our home and I'm sure they do this often, but it was fun to sit and watch our heroes training. This time, they just landed on a field on the base. But our neighbor occasionally does night jumps with swim gear. They train to enter the water and not surface until they have reached the land or water area chosen for them.

We invited their family to go snorkeling with us one day and we felt very cheap with our garage sale snorkel equipment. They had special forces military grade scuba equipment. It was quite a difference! Ha! Oh well, I guess it's a good thing they provide our heroes with the best. :)
