Waimea Rock has become our family's favorite thing to do so far on the island! It started off with Cliff being brave enough to make the 25 foot jump. Then he got Kaiah and Mason interested...
Cambria and I weren't ready the first few times... She hung out on the beautiful beach with me.
For a few different trips she did this...
and still had a pretty fun time!
But then we went back again with friends and she was hooked! I think she may have jumped more than any of the others. They all did it repeatedly. And of all the activities we did with the Wachsmuths, this one was a repeater.
I put it on my bucket list, but was pretty nervous. It took me about 3 minutes to work up the nerve up there, and right when I was about to jump, this guy popped up right where I planned on landing!
He disappeared again and I didn't know if he was right under me or not, so I waited till he popped up again. This time he was far enough away and I knew I had to jump when I could see him. Oh also, I jumped from a lower spot... but we don't really need to talk about that.
Lochlan also decided to jump the last time we went. Before then he was content to just play and swim around too.
It's always such fun! And jumping into the sunsets can't be beat.
