I'm back to blogging. Sometimes it I just can't keep up! This past month I've been suffering with allergies and I've been wiped out! The kids actually told Cliff, "You know in the wild when the male lion lays around all day while the female hunts for the food? Well, it's just the opposite in our house!" Ack! It's awful! But true. I have been taking a nap every time Lochlan does to try to get some of my energy back.
Wednesday I got a sore throat. Thursday I dripped all day. Thankfully it was sunny and I could wear my sunglasses all day so no one had to see my hideous eyes... And today I woke up with a pretty good cough, a headache and a runny nose. Cliff was already at work, so I called my mommy :) on the off chance she could come help out.
Turns out she could! AND she brought a ton of food. So all day, she played with the kids, fed them, read to them, played games and puzzles with them, kept Lochlan alive and entertained while I ... you guessed it!
Slept.
I took 2 three hour naps! And now I am feeling much better. I think it made a huge difference. The only problem is... now I can't sleep! So I'm blogging. We'll see how much I can catch up tonight.
