Andy has been through a lot the past several years. I've not seen anyone who has so dramatically changed. He is truly a new creation who is able to finally see himself the way God does. Redemption and forgiveness are beautiful things. And he was content to live alone the rest of his life, basking in the grace that God gives, at peace with himself and the Lord, but God had other plans.
Kristin!

We were only able to meet her 2 times before we moved to Hawaii, but I told Andy, if there were to be any sort of "significant events" happening that summer, that I was coming back for Hood to Coast at the end of August... guess when they scheduled the wedding day!? The weekend before... We were thrilled to be able to come to the wedding!!
The property the wedding was on was a wonderful place for the kids to play. There was frog and snake catching,
frolicking in the grass with the cousins,
and enjoying the beauty of the Pacific Northwest summer.
Of course some of us were up to our usual shenanigans...
The ceremony was at sunset. It was gorgeous, had themes of redemption running throughout, and even a frog jumping on my grandma's wig! Then it got eaten by a snake right next to my mom's chair.
She was alternating between laughing and uncontrollable tears...
Such a happy moment!
Beautiful decorations!
And wonderful dancing!
Kristin
came into Andy's life, like a breath of fresh air. She brought with her
grace, peace, joy, and new life! Kristin has been such a wonderful
addition to our family. She is kind, gentle, patient, and sweet and talented. Her
compassion is amazing, and she shows her love to
Evelyn in sweet, thoughtful ways. We all love her!
