This year, since it was our first year in Hawaii, we were looking for new, fun events to do, and since we missed the pumpkin patch with this farm, we decided to check out their live nativity.
Side note: I think this is the most tan we have ever been at Christmas! (And Cliff had to work unfortunately).
The farm is run by Christians and they do this as a free ministry for the public all month. They had hay rides around the farm as this guy sang songs about Jesus. It was relaxing and fun in a beautiful setting.
When we were done with the ride, they had hot chocolate and marshmallows for roasting at a fire pit... which was super hot and in this humid, hot climate, no one really wanted to endure the sweat to get close enough to the pit to toast them... so we just drank our hot chocolate (and still sweat a bit :)
My phone picture quality wasn't great... but the nativity story was really fun to watch. The shepherds, Mary and Joseph, and the wise men came walking in from far away and as they did, someone sang Christmas songs and other tunes in Hawaiian and English. It was beautiful!
