Tulip Festival 2011

This winter and spring so far have been really rainy. Almost relentless. So when we had a day with the whole family, with no agenda, and a rainless sky, we took off for the Woodburn Tulip Festival!
This year they had a badminton court set up. The older kids played that for a long time while Cambria and Lochlan played in a miniature house nearby. The loved it! And I loved being able to experiment with my lenses. I rarely have time for such things...

Then we went over to the big fields for a different angle. The kids enjoyed climbing on the tractor and goofing around a little bit :)

Then we took a few photos even though I didn't dress them up this year in their Easter dresses...

 More beautiful tulip shots...

I just love going there. Last year was the only year we haven't been since Mason was a baby. It's a fun April tradition.

39. Lots to be thankful for here:
40. Long car rides
41. Fresh air
42. Wide open spaces
43. 60 degree weather
44. Everyone in one place having fun together
45. Clogs
46. Flowers in every color of the rainbow

What great pix, Becky. So glad you had time to take them -- and to share them. Blessings.

These are amazing Becks...so many times when I see your photos, I want to blow them up huge and frame them. They really do capture God's creation and due it justice.
But we all know one very "special" photo is missing... :)
