The girls (and Katelyn) were asked by my cousin Berina to be in her wedding! They were so excited to do this together and had a lot of fun. Poor little Ethan (Katelyn's brother) was going to be the ring bearer, but got a high fever and was vomiting right before they left... leaving baby Jonathan to jump in the ceremony in his place... except he didn't actually end up doing that either, but was in a few of the official wedding shots :)
The wedding was very unique and not altogether traditional. They had dinner before the wedding. During that time, beautiful music was played and the kids had a great time dancing!

They had a wonderful part of the ceremony I had never seen before in a wedding. They washed each others feet symbolizing the servanthood that needs to happen in a godly marriage. So neat!
And they were one of the few couples I have heard of who waited to kiss each other until after they were pronounced.
