So far the boys have been the only ones to attempt this, but I promised my friend Kim that I would learn. She will unfriend me if I don't, so I will eventually... but it has honestly been quite cold! The locals agree.
It started with boogie boarding:
and progressed to the board. We need to get Mason a smaller one, as it is much more difficult to manage an adult size, but he managed to catch a few waves standing up. Here are Cliff's attempts:

Because his nips hurt after a while.
Apparently you have to wear a shirt when you're just starting out. The paddling just rubs 'em raw. When I asked him for permission to put this pic on, he said, "Sure. Not that many people read this blog, except there are some random people in Russia occasionally. They shouldn't care too much about my nipples. I mean I care about them, but they probably don't..."
