This year Cliff's parents came to visit over Mother's Day weekend. I planned for some good meals and fun activities, but they ended up paying for us to eat out almost every meal! It was a nice break from spending time in the kitchen. On Sunday we went to a place called Honey's at the base of the Ko'olaus. It rained the whole time, but it was nice. A lot of local Hawaiians were there as well and there was live Hawaiian music with spontaneous hula dancing by the people dining there.
I love being a mom to these crazy kids!
