Too often I want to take the credit or desire the praise... when what I really want, deep down, is for God to be glorified. He is the only reason I have ever done anything good or have anything good, or will even take one more breath in this life.
I still have this up in my kitchen... because I daily need this reminder. I'm serving Him, not myself or anyone else. I pray that my attitude and actions will daily show that humility that can only come as a result of knowing Christ.

I was reminded of that, with a smile, as I was wiping down the smears on the couch...by the new Steven Curtis Chapman song playing on the radio.
