First Haircut!

When Kaiah was 4 and 1/2 she had her first haircut. It seems that we are keeping up the tradition with Cambria. She's also (a little more than) 4 and 1/2, but it was time! Cambria did have some bangs cut by Grandma when we were in Houston getting Lochlan, but I don't like to count that one as a real haircut.

I had been mentioning to Cliff for a while that I was going to cut it. He used to coach the girls that if I ever came at them with scissors talking about cutting their that they should run... RUN! They thought it was a really fun game and really did it. Every time I mentioned it.

So helpful.

But I said it again recently and he didn't freak out too much. I took this as permission ;) Cambria really wanted to have hair like Kaiah's anyway, and had been saying it for a while. So... a few days later we did it!

We are planning on donating to Lock's of Love or a similar organization. We cut over 12 inches of hair off!

I felt sick to my stomach for a couple of hours...

 

 
but when Cliff came home and saw how excited she was and how cute it was I felt a lot better :)

It so adorable and easy to comb, I don't know why we didn't do it earlier!
