Fridge Friends

I finally got my act together and changed out the 2009s for the 2010s. So many sweet friends! And although all throughout the year, I get several comments from Cliff, "Who are they?! I've never seen that person in my life..." But I know who they all are.

There are new ones every year it seems. The colors and families and faces and friends add so much! I will frequently pass by and one person or family will stand out to me in that particular moment. I am usually prompted to pray for them before I go on with my next task. It helps me to keep people who I don't see everyday (which is pretty much everyone) in the forefront of my mind. Some I am praying that they will accept Christ. Some just need encouragement. Some I have no idea why I'm praying for them... but the Holy Spirit does. He knows exactly what they need at that particular moment. Other times I am praising God for what he has done in their lives: adoptions, pregnancies, provisions in hard times, illnesses healed, etc. What is encouraging to me is that I know of several friends who are doing the same thing for us :)


I usually have missionaries that we support or pray for regularly up on the top because I know they need prayer often, but I'm working on a separate area for them near our map wall... more about that later.

I love my fridge friends. And I love the ones who didn't give us a picture this year too :) I think I'm just a really visual person and need to see them once in a while to remind me that I have a lot of really great people in my life (even if Cliff doesn't know who they all are). It's really such a blessing...
