Make Ahead Freezer Dough

When we made some treats for the firefighters the other day I had a whole bunch of cookie dough that I didn't have time to bake up. So I put it in an 8x8 pyrex baking dish that had been coated with cooking spray and smashed the dough in there. I scored the dough with a knife and then I refrigerated it. It popped right out the next day and I put it in a ziplock bag.

It was so easy! I know they already sell this in the grocery store, but I'd like to think that my recipe is slightly healthier and I have recently found a chocolate chip recipe that is irresistible. And I'm sure this is probably an old idea for good managers of the kitchen... but I still feel like I have made a fun discovery that will save me time in the long run.

I think I'm going to double or triple my cookie recipes from now on and just do this. It makes for such an easy dessert to make in a hurry. And it's not bad eating just the dough... not that I would do that or anything.

OK! I did eat one square. I couldn't help it. It was sooooo good!

Yum! How much are you selling it for?
